Our Story

Allan & Lyndsey Arendsee have always believed in and been involved in giving back to their communities on a volunteer basis. From Allan coaching soccer (much to his daughter’s chagrin) and serving as President of the Burn Institute to Lyndsey driving church vans into Mexico and the hills of Tijuana to being President of the Coronado Schools Foundation and being named Optimist of the Year, giving back has always been a part of our life. The Foundation was a way to continue that legacy even as the girls have grown and moved away.

The Foundation was established in December 2007. It came about as a concerted effort to regularize the charitable donations that were already being made by Allan & Lyndsey Arendsee. At the time Allan Arendsee was a real estate broker and annual income could vary widely. The Foundation was an attempt to help stabilize the amount of charitable giving Allan & Lyndsey were making despite the swings in annual income.

Board of Directors: The Allan & Lyndsey Arendsee Family Foundation board of directors is composed of the Arendsee Family: Lyndsey Arendsee (President), Allan Arendsee (Founder), Andrea Cardillo (Vice President), Allyson Darakjian (Director of Charitable Giving). The board of directors is responsible for selecting organizations to receive gifts. At the end of the year, Brandy Investments (CEO- Allan Arendsee) allocates some funds for the employees of Brandy Investments to designate gifts to their favored charities, on behalf of themselves, through the Allan & Lyndsey Arendsee Family Foundation.
